GOLD APPLE INC CEO
About Our Founder
Since 2014, Gold Apple Inc was born in the mind of a young Los Angeles native named Cheyenne Appling. Since opening an email account and dubbing her passion for business her profession, an amateur consultant beat the streets to pursue opportunity.
It was during that time, witnessing the rise and fall of black businesses in her neighborhood of Inglewood, that Cheyenne Appling determined what her demographics’ economic infrastructure was missing: Consultants. Considering knowledge of the business world is not widespread in her community, a professional whom advises those how to navigate the entrepreneurial world is a treasure brimming with untapped economic potential.
What a young ambitious Creole woman embarking on a prominent path quickly learned is that women are not treated fairly in business. Having heard the many testimonies of trials women endure in business; salary gaps, intimidation, harassment, illegal practices, breached contracts, stolen intellectual property and more. Yet, with so many injustices, women strive vigorously to make their mark in business. The black business woman’s feats are not solely for glory, for there is little glory when each accomplishment is met with impeding adversity. Black women work impressively hard, persistently attempting to conquer the obstacles set before them in hopes that their story may encourage populations of young black women with grand aspirations.
Madame C. J. Walker is the woman Cheyenne Appling models both her motivations and ethical business practices after. The phrase “Don't sit down and wait for the opportunities to come. Get up and make them!” is what pushed a young black woman to never give up despite her many pitfalls. Venturing into any industry fearlessly, learning the intricacies of multiple routes one could take to achieve their goals and tailoring her consultations for the individual suitably, Cheyenne began to believe in her dreams. Ms. Appling’s plans for her consultant firm is to grow into a charitable corporation with a trust fund that invests diversely in real estate and several fields, concentrating on black women while donating a percentage of proceeds to her nonprofit foundation iMotivate for minority youth, women and families in need.
To build a corporation black girls all over the world would be proud to work for and know that one day they can be an affluent business woman and Gold Apple Inc will be there to help them.
“I am not merely satisfied in making money for myself, for I am endeavoring to provide employment for hundreds of women of my race. ”
